Mix sets is a great challenge to do because it’s a great proof that the other guys are not that scary. In this challenge, you approach sets of at least one boy and one girl, ideally in night clubs or public areas. Couples rarely go out together, so it’s unlikely the guy is her boyfriend. Even if they’re initially not nice, it’s amazing how fast they can turn around and you can even end up being friends with them. This can help you pull the girl as they can give you social proof.

Before you do the challenge, you need to know that you should very quickly get to know how they know each other, right? The easiest way to do that is to be like, oh, how do you know each other by the way, right? Be aware in your periphery for signs of aggression such as tucking in the chin or trying to elbow you out. If this happens, try to diffuse it by being nice and acknowledging the person.

Get out of the set. Let him fuck it up himself and then come back in later on when he’s not there anymore. Be aware of the science, defuse him if possible, and take the wind out of his sale. Get out of the set if someone is acting aggressively, let him act aggressively and the girl will pick up on that. Defuse him if necessary and be nice to take the wind out of his sale.

I’m focusing on providing value and giving a good time, and then getting out. Aggression should be avoided. I extend my hand, hold eye contact, and show that there’s no threat coming from me. This helps build social proof, which can be useful later on when I want to take a girl home. Befriending the couple can make it work, and they can be of help later on.

When talking to a couple, I ask how they met and how long they’ve been together. I wish them all the best and explain that it’s too early to get married at 20, as my parents have been divorced for longer than they have been married. It’s a little uncomfortable in the beginning, but when you feel resistance, you gotta do it. Get to know how people know each other quickly and then play it from there. Interrupt two people one on one dancing for bonus points. Ask showy questions like “Is this the best club on Saturday?” Use passive attraction to make yourself look cooler. If someone tries to make you jealous, it’s an unattractive trait. Introduce yourself with something interesting like “I’m a rapper from Austria”.

Ignore the guy and focus on the girl 99% of the time. If the guy is a big dick and he tries to get aggressive, get out and re-approach later. Very rarely will it be her actual boyfriend, but if it is, don’t just get out – be awesome, compliment them and become friends with them as it can be beneficial later on. With a friend zone guy, he could be aggressive and see you as a threat, so ignore him and focus on the girl.

Be aware of the relationship between the girl and the guy in the set, and play it from there. If the guy is a stranger, befriend him if you can. If he’s aggressive, get out and re-approach. If he’s friendly, acknowledge him in a friendly manner and chat with him to get to know him. This should take away your fear of mix sets.

This challenge is a great way to prove that the other guys you’re so afraid of are usually really nice and welcoming. It can help you build social proof, which can be useful later on when you want to take a girl home. It’s important to quickly find out how they know each other, and then play it from there. Be aware of the science, defuse him if possible, and take the wind out of his sale. Be friendly to the aggressive guy, try to win him over and befriend him, make sure he gets occupied, be respectful if he acts aggressively, and step in if necessary.

Depending on your ethics, you can either take the girl away from him or leave him alone. If he’s a player, he won’t see the girl you’re approaching as a sexual potential partner, so befriending him could make him a great wing. It’s okay to approach the guy or the girl first, and it’s important to quickly find out how they know each other. When a random guy approaches, focus on the girl as it doesn’t matter that he was two minutes earlier. Work on your own challenges and report back from the field. When approaching a set, it is beneficial to go in the direction that is most beneficial for that specific set.
